Honda continues to fuel curiosity about its upcoming Hornet model by releasing design images. In the share shared by Honda on its official website, the main lines of the new model are clearly visible.
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda has shared some design drawings that show the basic concept of the motorcycle. The design was created under the direction of the R&D Center in Rome, which worked closely with the Honda R&D center in Japan on the design of several European models, including the CRF1100L Africa Twin, CB650R and X-ADV.
The design concept of the New Hornet was created by 28-year-old Giovanni Dovis, who was responsible for the visual appearance of the latest New Urban Scooter ADV350. “Honda’s design philosophy seeks to combine formal purity with functionality to create models that are beautiful, simple and emotionally appealing.
The designs show how Hornet’s design concept combines agility, dynamics and lightness with slim proportions, a pointed rear end and sharp lines. This has resulted in a new look with compact proportions that creates exciting dynamics and epitomizes the Hornet’s sporting intent.”
